Taichi
Taichi or Taiji Chuan is an ancient Martial Art (Wushu), Meditation System, and Healing Practice from China. In Mandarin Chinese language ‘Taiji’ refers to the Supreme Oneness of Being from which the twin forces of Yin and Yang originate. ‘Chuan’ means ‘Fist’ or ‘Boxing’.
Chi Gong (Chi King) is a comprehensive system of interconnected body movements, breathing, stretching and meditation used for preventive medicine, self-healing and self-cultivation. “Chi” means “energy of life” and “gung” or “king” means “farming”. You will also learn.

Taichi can be used as a form of equal combat, although the main purpose of Taichi and Chi Gong is to cultivate and educate themselves in every aspect of their lives. However, it is just as beneficial for young children as it is for older people.

The benefits of Taichi and Chi Gong have proved to reverse the effects of most physical and mental ailments in the human body, and its practice is encouraged around the world as a highly effective form of alternate and preventive medicine. Therefore Taichi is often also used by other Kung Fu practitioners around the world to complement and enhance their skills.
About the Instructor
Shifu Muhammad Munawwar Shamroz is the senior-most practitioner of Taichi and Chi Gong in Pakistan. He started training Kung Fu at the age of 10 from Chinese Master Zen Bo in Karachi. he studied Taichi and Chi Gong under Master Chen Shun Hua of the renowned Chen school of Taichi Chuan.
His third and present teacher is Master Peter Chan, who is a relative of Jackie Chan. Shifu Muhammad Munawwar Shamroz has been teaching his art for the last 30 years and is one of the most respected Kung Fu practitioners of Pakistan as the senior-most master of Rainbow Taichi and Chi Gong style of Kung Fu in the country.
